Why is medical waste regulated?

       Committed and Responsible
Medical waste is highly dangerous. A correct administration and final disposition is sought in order to:
a) Minimize the probability of transmitting a disease from a medical center to the general public.
b) Reduce the total amount of medical waste which is generated.
c) Prevent the emission of chemical substances into the environment (furans, dioxins, and other types of toxic wastes).
